To use features like creating word lists and saving your study progress, you need to create an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.

2. Your Custom Lists

Our Service allows you to create custom vocabulary lists by selecting words from the vocabulary we provide. You own the unique compilations you create.

By creating these lists, you grant us a limited license to store and display them for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., syncing your lists across your devices). Since you are selecting from pre-existing content, you are not creating new content that would carry separate legal obligations.

3. Premium Services and Payments

Certain features of the Service, such as syncing your study progress and word lists across devices, are part of our paid subscription ("Premium Services").

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually). They will automatically renew unless you cancel your subscription through your account settings before the renewal date. All payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, PayPro Global. By subscribing, you agree to their Checkout Buyer Terms.

4. Our Intellectual Property

The Service itself, including our design and app features, is owned by StudyGerman.app and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5. Termination

You can stop using our Service at any time. You may request to have your account and all associated data deleted by contacting us at the email address provided below. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS." While we strive for accuracy, we don't make any warranties about the content or functionality of the Service. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA".

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. By continuing to use the Service after the changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis for issues like billing errors or significant, unresolved technical problems that prevent you from using the core features of the Service.
